Our Founder
Teonna N. Cooksey founded Mecca Development to close the gap between design intent and development outcomes. A Milwaukee native with dual master's degrees in Architecture and Urban Planning from Columbia University, Teonna brings systems thinking and community-grounded vision to every engagement. Her leadership centers the belief that development must deliver dignity, not just density.
